Diskey's most popular interior system, the Simple Sign™ system, was designed for incredible flexibility, ease of upkeep, and attractive appearance, all at low cost.
This system features fully integrated signage solutions for a wide range of users. We offer Any Size, Any Shape, Any Color. Multi-Inserts in multiple configuration shapes and of course this can be applied to directories as well as emergency plan signs. (shown below)
The construction of these signs is pivotal to not just their popularity, but their functionality and versatility. All Simple Sign™ units are available with either square or radius corners, and feature a computer-driven machine cut, non-glare clear acrylic face attached to a PVC "backer" plate to create an internal slot for changeable inserts.
The inserts, once in place, are "subsurface", providing an affordable, low-cost, adaptable system with built-in resistance to vandals. If the simple sign is used to display the person using a particular office and they move out in the future, simply putting a new insert in the existing sign changes the identification quickly and cost efficiently for the new occupant. Simple Signs™, like all of our interior signs, are available in any of fifteen standard colors, or an unlimited number of custom colors. Matching or contrasting insert options include PSV (pressure-sensitive vinyl) copy, full computer-generated copy, transparent polycarbonate inserts, or blank for user-generated copy. All holders are also available with or without the white accent line.

The example at left illustrates how an ADA compliant tactile header can be combined with our MIP™ units. This neaty unified sign contains two independently changeable inserts, one custom- designed to fit a 4" × 6" photograph!
The example at right shows a 4-insert Simple Sign™ Combo, popular among Medical and Educational facilities where staff members work from several locations. The instructors and doctors can carry their nameplates with them and can generate their own inserts both time- and cost-efficiently. Additionally this sign features a combo tactile header with arch top and ADA compliant braille!

The MIP™ system (Message Insert Plaque) was designed as an alternative to our Simple Sign™ system. This offers even more flexibility for architects, designers and end users. The primary difference between the two is that the insert is accessible from both the left and right sides of the sign, facilitating easier changing of the inserts. This feature is of particular use to educators and medical personnel who carry their name inserts with them to the different rooms they work from. (Due to this method of construction, the white accent is not available.) The possibilities of our MIP™ signs often don't become clear until the realization that something has changed. Many orders for this type of sign are ancillary purchases to correct or fill out an existing interior package. Due to Diskey's nearly limitless color-matching and installation capabilities, we can install these additional signs to an existing package so seamlessly, they'll look like part of the original order. -Also handy for gradual change-overs from old to new interior remodeling schemes. As you can see from the examples illustrated here, any size, color, corner radius, and insert arrangement can be specified.
